At Chelmsford Junior Netball Club we are committed to safeguarding and meeting the needs of the children and young people. All of our Coaches have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. At training and match days we provide a safe place for children and young people to play netball.
Volunteers
All of our volunteer coaches are trained in Child Protection and Safeguarding. All the volunteers have attended the ‘Time to Listen’ and safeguarding course through England Netball All of our volunteers are also DBS checked.
Designated Safeguarding Officer
We have strong safeguarding procedures and practice in place and our Safeguarding Officer is Helen Preston who has volunteer as a coach for over 10 years.
